PERSPECTIVE

My mother used to give us sketch pads as children and I would draw pictures from magazines, counterfeit characters from Calvin and Hobbes.
We would go on long car rides to ski resorts and I'd look out the window of our chevy lumina mini van, killing time, wasting time, drawing. I never really thought of it as spending time, like spending money, which you only do when you really want something.
